do community theater

In my thus far unsuccessful quest to have some sort of creative talent, Anxiety with a capital A kicked in again and I went into fight or flight mode… After several rehearsals, I’ve realized that I am just not cut out for this kind of thing. I had to put my health first and quit due to high stress levels. I really don’t like having that much attention directed at me—makes me uncomfortable. I feel the same way when people make me dance at parties.

i used to do stagecoach, so i guess i’m half way there.

The years I did theater (between college and children) were the most soul-fulfilling years of my life. I met more interesting people in theater and liked myself more in that time than ever in my life. My children are getting bitten by the drama bug and I couldn’t be happier about it.
