I have a good sense of rhythm and love to play my bongos but I want to learn proper technique. I haven’t had any training in it so far. Can anyone recommend any books/dvds/cds?

Ive been playing bongos, but now i want to learn more..theres always room for improvement.
DocD is having a rainy day.
I used to play the traps in a rock band, snare in a marching band, and various percushion in a symphony orchestra, but now I only play the bongos, which have always been my favorite.
Im reading a book on well being and it suggests learning a musical instrument… i used to play the sax and loved it but its rather expensive… i also played the drums so im gonna give it a shot.. my mom also wants to learn so i will try and teach her too!!!
After splurging $60 on a pair of bongos, I realize that I actually have to learn them. I mean, yes, I can sit there for hours pretending I can play them, but I’d like for people to say “Wow, you can really jam on those.” Or something.
Starting now.
Will get bongo book ASAP, NLT 30 days from now. Will practice snare drum fundamentals on it with hands in meantime, both on one drum and on both.
