travel to Indonesia

backpacked through in 2004. couldn’t forget the place and it had such an affect on me i trained to teach english and went back the following year. spent 12 months in west java teaching and managed to achieve a lot of travelling. have been back 2 years i think and am planning to spend a few weeks there hopefully leaving in a few weeks. can’t recommend doing this enough.

Whether you go to Bali for a temple dance or travel to the remote islands looking for textiles, Indonesia is the ultimate adventure destination. Go!

I made my second trip in 1987, stayed for a year in 1990-91, came back in 1993, and then again in 2002. I always want to go back, and still plan to go in the near future. I am just moving the trip to 43 Places.

..many times. But I always want to go back. Even studied at Gadjah Mada university in Yogya some ten years ago. Went to Bali a couple of years ago with the kids – really good trip. I highly recommend it to anyone with a bit of adventure still in them and, of course, a lot of curiosity is always an asset.
