There are really only reason tonight why I’m aspiring to become a confident jogger.
LUNG capacity and HEART health. That’s right! In my 4th attempt to finally kick the filthy, life-draining habbit that is smoking, I have found a new resolve. And that is… to become a morning jogger. In the last 3 months I’ve been breathing in short shallow gulps, have porous acne-prone skin and feel myself moping about the house more often than is healthy. So here goes nothing 5/7 days a week. First weeks goal: 10 minute power walk, 15 minute jog and 10 minute stretch. Wooooo 2 years ago

I went again today and I did awesome! I can feel my endurance getting better and better each day. I was worried because my muscles are pretty sore, but I kept going and made it! I am doing so well. There is going to be on fit mama by summer’s end. 4 years ago

Today my husband and I went jogging. It was my first time in like forever and I’ve never been much of a runner. I read into the beginner’s precautions prior and did a 15 minute speed walk warm up. Then we started joggin at a very low pace for like 15 to 20 minutes and I wasn’t out of breath and I didn’t stop. In fact, when we came within a block of our home we sprinted into the driveway! I am so proud of myself, especially for a first day. 4 years ago

I’ve been reading online about beginners tips for running and I am slightly dissapointed that most of them have suggested that I walk for the first four weeks before I start running. I don’t want to get injured, so perhaps I will follow this regiment for a week? Bad or good idea?
I’ve always hated running growing up, but I am over that now and I am going to succeed no matter what it takes. Luckily, I have an awesome husband who is going to do this with me! 4 years ago

I’m declaring this one done. Everyday at work I log at least 10,000 steps of walking, effectively taking the place of jogging in the morning. 5 years ago

I want to make sure I do this every day this week so I will check back each day and fill this out when I complete my jog (or as in today’s case since it rained, used the stationary bike)

The 8 a.m. forecast for tomorrow is partly cloudy and 58. Looking pretty good to start up my jogging again. It’s been raining for the past three days, otherwise I would have began today. 5 years ago
