How to stop wearing so much black clothing
How I did it: basically i went shopping and bought a lot of white t-shirts that are really high-quality and make me look good, then stored my black clothes away for some time.
Lessons & tips: black clothing can be addictive, and shopping for other colours may be challenging at first, but it's worth the time and effort spent
Resources: shops!!

I’m really obsessed with wearing dark clothes, but I’m afraid it’s taking away too much of my positive energy. I’d like to be more colourful, but still classy..
I wear black because I sweat way too much which is embarassing and ridiculous in the same breath. If I wear another color I start worrying about sweating and then I get myself so worked up about it that I end up- you guessed it- sweating. I’ve tried every OTC thing I can find to stop the sweating but alas, nothing is working. I work with kids so I don’t dare think of wearing white.
Gah.
so hard to accomplish. 1) Black is very popular in the stores. 2) I love black clothing 3)I resist change, black is a protective colour, so… now I at least buy stuff that goes well with black. I have to wear suits for my job, black is good for that. I started wearing brown and grey and I added red, cream and green to the mix so at least I am going in the right direction!

Perhaps I should change this to “stop wearing black clothing for all of the wrong reasons” but it is too much to sort out. Damn it, I like black clothing and I look good in it.

So, another item of black clothing arrived yesterday. It looks great. I’m really not doing very well on this.

I might have to give this up. I have two new black dresses coming in the mail this week. And two orchestra concerts. So perhaps not the best time for this resolution.
Looking for a job entailed me getting a new suit, guess what colour suit I ended up with? BLACK…sheesh, this goal is harder than I thought it would be. To make up for the black suit I bought a couple of coloured tops/sweaters. I am going to try to make brown my new black!!! Now I just need a job to start paying for the wonderful wardrobe that I am planning…
