Recently they showed another show about reincarnation on TV, and we watched it of course. Luckily I could find out the name of the woman who helped the people in the show remember their past lives—these people later went to the places they remembered and searched for evidence that what they have seen is real (let me put it this way : They weren’t disappointed at all).
I wondered whether I would like to see these places after having had this done. I am probably scared of my own emotions once again.
To get back to the subject, I of course am fighting with myself about sending her an e-mail or not. I don’t know if I am courageous enough, whatsoever. My sister was like, “Come on, we should get this done!”, which I admire about her. It would probably be a life changing experience.

I have been to a dozen different places trying to find out about my past life. I want to know what I was who I was and if I may know anyone now that I knew then.

Book about it
I’ve bought a book about how to uncover a past life. I tried but I couldn’t relax and focus enough on it. I’ll try later when things are more calm in my life.

weallareone is in challenging times! and not confident she'll meet the challenge!
through thoughts that just simply “came to me” and I’ve had them affirmed by a spiritual healer, however, I do not have memories of these past lives… so I’d like to have more memories as I’m sure they’ll provide a great insight to the challenges I face as a human being in this lifetime.

Ever since I have heard that there are methods of making you remember your past lives, I wanted to remember mine, too. I have no doubt at all that I have lived before incarnating into this life.
I also have some memories I don’t really know where they come from. As a little child, I had memories that were connected to the middle ages … I was a grown-up woman in this dream, and there were things happening to me I have actually not known of at this age …
I also talked with my sister about our past lives when we were little children. Mainly things that I guess were just very cliche, but then again, I wonder whether there was something real about those discussions …
There are various other things I’d want to know more about. Which people I know from past lives, for example … If there are any. I am pretty sure I used to know some of them … And I wonder whether they sort of look like their current lives (if they have some) ...
I am also asking myself how much I’d have to pay for a past life regression … And I am somewhat scared of hypnosis, for you never know who will “help you” remember things. You never know who you will have to trust … Do you have to be hypnotized, by the way? I have seen one show on TV once and they didn’t hypnotize the candidates, and they still remembered a LOT from their past lives …
I am also scared that those people would perform something else on you that you “remember” stuff they are telling you to remember. Hard to explain …
However, I will not give up on this. Maybe I will try to get a book about how to remember past lives … (sigh) If only I knew any good books on that subject …

I watched Oprah yesterday and found reading past lives really interesting and even credible.
I want to get this done sometime in my life. I’d like to learn why I am the why I am.

I not only want to know why I have anxiety. But where did it come from. I didn’t get it until I got older. And after having my baby. For the first 3 months was hell. Why is this? Then why am I so Jealous all the time. Over everything, and anything?

(excerpted from the official A.R.E. site at EdgarCayce.org/ms)
Just what is reincarnation? It is the belief that each of us goes through a series of lifetimes for the purpose of spiritual growth and soul development. Cayce’s approach does not include the concept of transmigration, which states that it is possible for human beings to be born again as animals. From the standpoint of the Cayce material, souls only occupy human bodies through their spiritual growth and developmental process.
In essence, the Cayce approach to reincarnation provides a philosophical setting to the past focusing on practical ways of dealing with this life: living, growing, and being of service to one another in the present. For him it wasn’t nearly as important to who individuals had once been, or even what they had been doing, as it was paramount that they focus on the present and the opportunities and challenges that faced them in this time, in this place, right now.
In terms of remembering your own past lives, the Edgar Cayce information provides a variety of approaches. In fact, oftentimes individuals who received readings would ask about such things as memorable dreams that were on their mind, personal traits and talents that they had always been drawn to, and even intense positive or negative relationships with other people in their lives – Cayce described how each of these things could be tied to past-life memories. With these things in mind, in order to remember your own past lives the Cayce readings recommend such things as personal inventories of your talents, abilities, likes, and dislikes; working with meditation and dreams; taking part in imaginative past-life reveries or self-hypnosis, and so forth.
From Cayce’s perspective, the reason for believing in reincarnation is not so that we can dwell upon the past or brag about the possibility of once having been someone famous, instead it is to enable a soul to understand the consequences of previous choices and to know that each individual is ultimately responsible for shaping and creating his or her life in the present. From the Cayce readings’ perspective, the past merely provided a framework of potentials and probabilities. An individual’s choices, actions, and free will in the present would determine the actual experience lived this time around. Rather than being a fatalistic approach to life, it is much more one of nearly limitless opportunities.
