How I did it: I took my car to the Ford dealership and they took my car into the back and replaced the oil somehow. I didn't really care to see how they did it. Apparently someone drew a heart on the bottom of my oil pan... it was weird they asked me if I did it...I was like "haha yeah right I crawled under my car and drew on the oil pan, i dont even know where the oil pan is"
Lessons & tips: Get it done. It's important and use Zemax, my dad swears by it... i'll probably swear by it too... i haven't used it yet because i got my first oil change in my car today (WooHoo 3,000 miles!)

i’m such a slacker….maybe tomorrow. I also now have to get my car smogged, so I’m hoping to get it all done at once!~
I’ve been putting this off for a while. I know how to do it myself, but sport cars are too close to the ground for any real comfort.
I’m hoping I can do it either tomorrow (Saturday) or Monday.

am I really imperiling my engine by not using the recommended all-synthetic oil – and if so, why didn’t anyone tell me sooner?
Done!! Only cost me 35 bones too… I feel a lot better about driving my car across the city now, and not having to be paranoid that the engine is gonna kick the bucket at any given moment.

I was scheduled to do this 2 weeks from now, but since my car was already in the shop, why not get it done so I don’t have to go back? Done today.
I forced myself to go do this. I also had my transmission fluid changed. I’m glad I made myself do some car work this weekend.

nevermind doing it myself…my car is a ‘91 (complicated to change the oil) and my bf explained everything I’d have to do…out in the cold…and getting dirty…and I’d have to get the supplies
