Bake a carrot cake

... tomorrow’s BBQ!

He was the only one to bake anything in the family, and I took for granted his amaaaazing carrot cakes. When he passed away I realized no one was able to continue baking his delicious goodies. So today I decided to make it out of scratch in his memory and as a treat for my dad, his son. And must I say, for a person who can barely cook, I did a pretty good job! =]

It was good. I love making cakes from scratch. I didn’t have a mixer so I just bought the frosting though, and proceeded to get frosting on my shirt and my purse(?). Well worth it.
