I love this goal! It makes me happy. I grew up and still live in Alaska. As the saying goes, someday Alaska will split in two and make Texas the third largest state.

While this may seem appealing to some of you simply because of the fact that it’s Texas and Texas is really just too big, there are reasons for me wanting to do this.
1) The I-10. Driving from LA to L.A. as I do every so often is really just horrible. And it’s entirely due to Texas. Far too many hours of complete desolation between SA and El Paso. Friggin icky.
2) I live in Louisiana. There is a rather cute nerdy chick I have my eye on In Arizona. You can see where I’m going with this no? Again thwarted by the immense size of Texas. :(
