Find a house and make it a home

So my Dad has sold his house.
My temporary accomodation has fallen through & it seems my uncle is running way behind schedule with his plans on building me a granny flat. I have been waiting around 6 months and have now decided that I am done relying on people because the results are never as good!

My sister is also needing somewhere to live. We have put our heads together and decided that we CAN live together. I am the kind of person that needs their own space and she would be willing to give that to me with out being up in my face.

Currently looking for somewhere to rent & once we find this perfect house we will make it a perfect home.

This goal is a bit of a break through because of have come to appreciate the positives in plan b :)

I moved! We’ve painted all of the house except for my room and still have some decorating and unpacking to do, but we’ve come a long way since Friday afternoon. I’d say that by next week I can mark this goal as completed.

I signed the lease on Thursday. Now I just have to make it into a home. It needs some sprucing, for sure, but it has potential. I have a great roommate and a yard for my pup. All is well!

Jon and I found a house and fell in love. Unfortunately the landlord decided to rent it to someone else. We are running ads in the paper on wednesday.
