Use my flickr account.

I really love flickr. Its so no-fuss, and other people’s photos inspire me like you wouldn’t believe…gosh people capture some gorgeous stuff.

I’ve been uploading new photos, and also some of my old ones too, whenever I get a few spare minutes.

Been uploading my “Picture a Day” photos onto it. Also been checking it daily for contact updates and the like. Its definatley gotten more use so far this year!

I’ve finally got my account sorted out. All this linking with Y! accounts is stupid.

Anyway. I went to the Leicster Space Centre, and took some awesome pix. I’ll upload them once I get home.

I’ve actually started using it a lot more, and have since purchased a pro account. I’m going to go ahead and mark this one done so I can move on to bigger flickr related goals. :D

Once you get started with Flickr - not just posting photos, but exploring others’ photos and sharing your feedback - the site starts to become an addiction. (Personally, I’m something of a feedback whore, constantly checking to see if someone has left comments on any of my photos. It’s such a thrill to click and see that someone’s not only looked at my work, but had something to say about it.)

I think you can become a better photographer (or, at least, develop a better appreciation for photography) as a result of being a heavy user of the site, especially if you follow the work of the really good photographers on the site.

Though I have at least gotten some use out of it now my flickr account will remain fairly bare until I start taking pics again. I’m not really an artistic person as far as photos (or anything else for that matter) but I’d love to put up travel shots there.

I have been using flickr for about a month now, and I really don’t see that it offers anything special when compared to the other photohosting sites.

Right then, so I have started using my flickr account and I am not entirely sure what all the fuss is about. I am going to give this flickr’ing thing another week or two, but so far, I am not exactly impressed.
