I have to go on a 6 Month cruise and wont make it back until about thanksgiving.
maybe 2009. i really didnt like the theme anyway.

How to burning man

How I did it: I've been to Burning Man twice - once in 2004 and once in 2005. I camped with the Black Rock JCC both times - and volunteered with the Black Rock Emergency Medical Services.
Lessons & tips: Do your research before you go. Burning Man is about radical self reliance - make sure that you have what you need before you go. Also - pack light - plan to "leave no trace" - don't bring things that don't break down / recycle easily. Remember that you'll be trucking out all of your garbage from the event.
On another front, approach BM with an open mind. The experience is what you make of it. It could be a week of sex, drugs and rock & roll - or it could be a spiritual, life changing experience. More than likely, it will be somewhere in the middle for both of you.
Be sure to bring gifts - and plan to "pay it forward" - remember, no commerce allowed at BM!
