Actually I’ve done this twice before, and I was very pleased with the results. This time i’ve found a new treatment that is not that harmful for your hair. It is supossed to last for 6 months.
How I did it: I've tried
several treatments. Actually this is the 3rd time I have Straighten my hair
pemanently. Also I have tried the Ion. Of course is a pain in the
neck to ion it every day.. and in rainy days you can never acomplish that look.
Lessons & tips: I don't
recommend to ion it everyday and then have Straightening treatment. Both
combined can ruin your hair. The best treatment I can really recommend is the
one that uses nanokeratin or something like that.. try to google it, it's
kinder with your hair. Don't use the one with formol.. it's dangerous
with your health.
Resources: Kerastase
Products, speceally Maquistance.. are good to mantain the hair healthier after
a straightening treatment.

I have straight hair but I want to straighten my hair for a wedding to look nice because my hair can be frizzy. What do you think I should do should I curl it with a curling iorn or straightener? I have never straightened my hair before but it looks great on everone else. Please tell what I should do.
It makes hair look so much smoother/shinier and it’s just easier to maintain.
The downside is the amount of split ends, so now i only do it once a week.
I love my GHD<3
I haven’t straightened my hair in 2 years. I just straightened it yesterday to see if I can do any other style with it straightened and I realized my hair has grown all the way down to my behind. I have wavy hair that I usually just spray with water and scrunch with gel to make it curly. Wow it took like an hour or 2 to straighten my hair. Its hard to straighten long hair. I think I might cut it because I want to straighten it more. It will take way less time. Straight hair with a little curl at the bottom and a swoop bang really frames my face more then wavy/curly hair. So Im going to try to straighten it more often.

So, I got my hair done at the mall the other day, got it set, and had a great time this weekend. Then, today, I straightened my hair and put on a SMALL amount of make-up (unusual for me) and several people said I looked different today. If I could only learn to do my hair on my own…
heaveemetal I still press your letters to my lips And cherish them in parts of me
experimentation this morning…I rather liked it…
here, you can get your har straightened at the hairdresser’s- i think it’s like getting a perm, just reversed.
I’m afraid it’ll ruin my hair.
I’ve never done anything with my hair, and I’m afraid that I’ll get split, and whatever.
What should I do?
Also, my hair’s pretty straight anyway… just not THAT straight.
I’m really unsure about what to do.
I straightened my hair and it looks gorgeous! It used to curly and frizzy and looked terrible. Now it is long and silky, and it even easier to care for! I don’t have to put chemicals in my hair anymore!
I want to make this a habit for when school starts. I never bothered before because my hair was kind of straight already, but I did 2 days ago and in the last 2 days I have gotten so many compliments on how it looks longer and softer and shinyer.
I wash my hair every other day because it stays healthier. And every other day I have to come in early to school. So on the days when I have more time (don’t have to be at school until 7:00) I will wash my hair then straighten it.
