i was travelling around europe for the summer in 2000 and had the chance to see pearl jam in verona italy. to be honest i was kinda interested in seeing them but i found out that the opening band was a group that i’ve seen play at a local bar in front of 50 people several times. needless to say i was camping out for a new block of tix.
the show was phenomenal. imagine seeing a great show from a couple of bands whose music you like in a colleseum that was built in the 1st century ad being allowed to enter with a bottle of wine and hanging out with some cool people you just met the day before.
no matter what music you like. go and see some great music played live. it will definitely move you.
