make more guy friends

I’ve never been able to hold a decent conversation with a guy before (it’s hard enough in general but it seems to multiply around guys).I’m just too damn self-conscious and anxious, even around the ones I don’t find attractive.

I’ve basically dug myself a large testosterone-free social grave, and since not many of my girl friends have guy friends either this is going to be difficult. But let’s face it, when all my friends graduate in May I’m going to have no friends at all! Kidding, but in all seriousness I also just miss having men in my life, and finally, if I ever want to be able to date men I have to be able to be friends with them too! Basically I need a course in Males 101 and I need to diversify my friend group. I love you ladies but the world is made up of more than just women!

This year I have some semi guy friends- not too solid yet. I think I will try being more open and friendly.
And not fall for the guy friends I make.

Maybe this is the perfect time to do this…I’m not interested in dating right now, so I can easily make friends instead of forming crushes like I always seemed to do in the past. We’ll see.

and it was so natural and easy. I really like him and his personality. I think I can now officially call him a guy friend. Now I just wanna get closer with Wyatt and Jesse and maybe Eric. I hung out with Carlos also today and he’s so sweet!

I’m starting to get better friends with Riley Daly, even though we only talk online because he’s super shy. He’ll get over it eventually. I want to be better friends with some of his friends, like Ren mostly. And I want to be better friends with Wyatt, Eric Bolen, and Jesse Klein. I love guys, they’re so fun and easy to be around.

I once took a survey of how many friends I had and seperated them into male and female friends. Turns out over 80% of my friends are female. I think that this could pose a problem because of the fact that there are certain things that I just cannot talk to my female friends about. I need some more guy friends!!!

I have some guy friends at church, in a couple of my classes, and I’m friends with like half the guys in my choir, so I think this is good. I just have to work on building solid friendships with them, but that’s not what I had originally planned for this goal, so I can deem this one through.
