learn to play the autoharp

i am so good at autoharp. its a really amazing instrument as well.

I discovered the autoharp at Stringalong, a music festival in Wisconsin. I am primarily a singer, and was looking for an instrument to accompany myself with. I’m tired of depending on other musicians. What a joy! I was playing in 10 minutes. But as they say, easy to learn – hard to master. I plan to work my way through an autoharp book course with occasional lessons. Stay tuned! (as it were)

I got an autoharp for my birthday/Christmas. It’s gorgeous, and right now I’m learning Ripple and Cassidy (Grateful Dead). I want to relearn enough music theory to be able to jam with my friends.
