expand my cd collection

Well, I get 20 bucks a week for random spendings, and I generally use about 15 for a new CD and the rest for one or two Monster energy drinks.

Yesterday I managed to hoard 26 bucks and got two at once. An Evanescence digipak and Blind Guardian – Nightfall in Middle-Earth, one of my favorite albums of all time, so that was definitely a major achievment.

Right now my collection is about forty CD’s, but I totally need more. I don’t like pirating music, but my income is not very large at all and cannot sustain my growing desire for more and more metal.

I guess I need a job now, huh? But for now, one CD a week should be enough. I’ll keep myself posted.

I’ve been trying to save my money, that’s why I haven’t got more.
I will slowly increase my cd collection though. I made a list of the albums I would like, and I’m going to tick this off when I have 30 cd’s.

I’m going to count how many I have currently and then I shall post my goal of how many I want to get to. :)

I’ve got about 2 singles cd’s ordered and 2 double cd sets, so i’ll have an extra 6 soon. :)

I’m going to consider this goal “done” as I now have around 140 CDs. Music has served as a source of entertainment, inspiration and comfort to me over the years, and I have no doubt it will continue to have a presence in my life.

My favourite CD of 2007 was Radiohead’s “In Rainbows” which I plan on acquiring in physical disk form in the near future. :)
