My nephew called me early this morning and said “I’m 4 now!” How cute is that??? I asked him what he was going to do today for his birthday and he said that he would ask his mom if they can play together. What a simple request, huh??

Took all day for our esteemed company to pack ,chase their tails and leave…7:15pm departure time???? School may be difficult for a child who does not get home till 1am…I simply don’t understand… Luckily there were a few alone moments with this sweet child. The cost was quite high…high blood pressure and a migraine… tired… perplexed?

light a candle, light some incense, do a little dance and get me a voodoo doll…My dear brother is coming to town for the weekend…it is his high school reunion…at the last minute he is bringing with him his daughter…ok…great…he is also bringing the vessel his daughter passed thru on her way into this world. Yes a woman he never married and has not lived with in about five years. The trip may be difficult for my brother because of his back problems…he has no spine. Psycho woman has never let any of us see this child unless her royal heinous was present ( she is never on time I might add…they are already a day late now) Any effort on my part was never good enough…homemade food, not good enough…restaurants are a problem too…they are usually closing by the time she can get there…gifts are always greeted with a disparaging comment. So the pompous vegetarian will be here in her own sweet time…but I’ll have the most ambrosial brisket ready to celebrate their delayed arrival. I must be going…I seem to have misplaced my garlic necklace. Is there an Exorsist in the house???

Can’t the world just stop for a bit so I can breath and relax?

I feel like I’m drowning in work, kids, worries, life…

I just want to be able to get past this…without crashing…
