Bought 2 pairs of trousers on the weekend … need another pair of shoes.
Kat is trying to better herself
How I did it: I was sick of always wearing jeans and tshirts to class and basically feeling like a shapeless blob all the time, so I threw out most of my ratty old stuff and bought a few nice wardrobe basics that fit me perfectly. Three or four nice blouses that fit will do more for your image than a closet full of baggy tshirts. Read how I did it…
Anwyn trainning to be a teacher
How I did it: after signing up to train to be a teacher i took one look at my wardrobe and decided that something needed to be done.while the clothes i had would be ok for uni i slowly started to buy in clothes that would be suitable for teachers to wear. however the trainers stay they just get changed more regularly. How I did it: I gradually bought more colorful and 'daring' clothing, a good tip for this is too look for i.e. t-shirts online. Find one you really like but, don't imagine yourself wearing it, just think of the t-shirt itself and when you decide to buy it, try it on in front of the mirror. Its likely you will feel uncomfortable with this new style at first, and maybe you feel it does not fit you, try wearing it a while when alone and see yourself in fr… Read how I did it…
rachelhey is miffed.
How I did it: It took me a long time but the most important part is to figure out your body type, and then figure out what does not look good on you. Once you figure that out, you can look for things that look great on you. I actually started wearing dresses, let my hair grow out and changed my make up. I also found a lot of clothes at discount places like Ross and Marshalls Read how I did it…
Flycello made eye contact with Gwen Stefani!
How I did it: I started taking my mom up on her offers to buy me clothes that fit. I also decided that, if I don't want to look like a bum then I just shouldn't look like a bum. No more t-shirts leftover from college (or, god forbid, bars), no more yoga pants to go shopping in...And I feel better about myself when meeting people too, like I don't have to apologize for my appearance. I pass homeless people in Chicago and say, “Hey! I have that shirt too!” Ok, not really but I haven’t been shopping for clothes in a long time. I enjoy looking good.
I felt so hot today. Taking the time to do my nails yesterday in a fun color really helped. Wearing real clothes with jewelry and fixing my hair and make up really helped my confidence. I need to make more of an effort every day!

Having gained a few pounds loads of my clothes don’t fit and I’m starting to wear baggy/stretchy things to try to accomodate my flab. Need to lose some weight and look at my wardrobe and think about what is appropriate for my age/lifestyle. Read an article in one of the Sunday supplements that was written about 50 years ago and still makes sense – need to make a list of what activities/occasions you need clothes for and buy accordingly. I have loads of evening wear but only get the chance to wear it a couple of times a year, but I’m scraping around in the mornings to find something suitable for work – how mad is that?!

Two new pairs of heels, two new lipsticks, a new lip-gloss, a new purse, and a cute summery top.

A bunch of new shirts, some shorts, dresses, and random odds and ends. I’d say I’m about 17 percent into this. It’s going to be a long-haul.
Pauper is trying to sort her life out
I make the effort to look trendy at work and buy clothes constantly now to update my look. But I feel like this goal is done – although I’m still a bum on the weekends
