i think that if i care more about my apperance then i will feel better about myself which would gove me more confidence. or at least that my logic anyway.
I just need to go shopping and buy things that i would never normally even consider or at least get the currage to try it on.

There was a heatwave in SF this past week so I got to wear a tank top (OMG amazing – I usually have to throw on a jacket anyway). I don’t like shorts, though, so no shorts for me. I didn’t have any dresses or skirts available since I am in the process of moving and they’re all at the new place. Grr. It’s back down to bearable (high 70s) and I love this weather. It should stay like this all through summer. That’d be awesome.

I’ve been dressing “better” I guess but it’s not a huge improvement. It always seems like I’m lacking something. A necklace or a belt or something. I don’t know. I’m still working on this.

Unfortunately, my tendency to go online window shopping yields to a rapidly deflating wallet.

weigh less it’s been easier to find a cute and affordable outfit I like.I’m slowly building a new wardrobe(I’m also in the process of losing another 30lbs or so;So that’s wy I don’t buy my clothes in big bunches..why waste the money?).My next shopping venture will be to get some cool tennis shoes for summertime..

seems kind of pointless now that I am not working. I do think it’s important to make an effort, at least – wear clothes that are in good condition, mended (if necessary), be properly groomed etc. This goal, for me, meant having good shoes and tights and wearing a variety of cute outfits that I had for work. Skirts and cute blouses and stuff. Now that I’m home, well, sweatshirts are fine most days and I have enough work stuff to get me by for a long time for when I run to the store or somewhere. So long, dressing better goal!

At the moment I’m dressing kind of sloppily. I’m a student so I just put on whatever and go to college. I dont even have PJs anymore! So because I’m broke I have only started to compile a smarter wardrobe. Obviously I cant wear the same outfit everyday (although that is what Im kinda doing now)

Yes, yes dear and this goal includes proper grooming. Artists tend to walk about with nasty paint-smeared fingers, and I suspect they get a kind of thrill from it, too, as if it entitles them to a grand respect from the masses for the muse hitting them.

Today, it’s sunny and warm, just like a summer day, so I decided to wear a pair of beige pants. Guess what? My best friend (and every girl best friend I think) has decided to pay me a visit three days before what we agreed on last one… Wish me luck!

I hit up H&M, Marshalls, and Urban Outfitters. I didn’t get anything that I listed as NEEDED, but I found some great stuff. I found a pair of sexy slippers (flip flops) at Marshalls – metallic silver – casual yet sexy. I also bought a top that H&M just got in – it’s grey but soft and it has a light rhinestone pattern on the right shoulder. I also purchased a graphic tee with beach names on the front and a multi-colored dotted dress.

I actually NEEDED to buy a couple pair of jeans, a pair of Converses, a jacket, and accessories. Didn’t get any of that :p.

I may go to DSW, Macys, Urban Outfitters (again), Zara, and Bloomingdales sometime this or next week.

Although I do like wearing outerwear… It’s funny spring as some people are completely summer dressed up and others fully winter even with wool sweaters! Me, right in the middle (i hope!) short sleeve black and white dots shirt by H&M, pink and gray sweater by ZARA and dark blue jeans by GAP.
