but I need to. My heart is in southern California, even if I don’t like the place very much. I have no choice, I have to go.
On the plus side, the weather beats Texas weather 100000%
I would still prefer rainy Seattle.

How I did it: Gave myself a timeline when I must do it! Shared my consideration to move and the plans I was to follow to get it done.Expressed to my parents about what I've reflected from my situations and how I want to change it.Got my parents blessings to venture into "the wild" of Cali; supposedly for a short time.I packed, bought a 1 way ticket, and moved! Read how I did it…
How I did it: My parents got tired of New York and wanted to move somewhere else. I suggested California. I explained that California was more family-friendly and there was more cool places to visit. Luckily, my dad got a job there and we moved. We moved to Turlock, a small town a few hours away from San Francisco. California was a lot different but I liked it. Turlock was perfect because it was pretty close to San Francisco, Los Angelos, Yosemite Nati… Read how I did it…

Even though I’ve never even been to Cali, I still want to live there at least once in my lifetime. My fiancee and I are really leaning towards Phoenix, Arizona though. We are planning to move there within the next 5-6 years. So maybe we can have a summer home on the beach there in California.
I am having a hard time right now and so i want to move away from my family. My friends will be coming with me hopefully.
orange county, california. why? it’s amazing, and the most amazing boy lives there..

My favourite place in the world is California. I live in UK and I don’t think I really belong here… it doesn’t feel like where I’m meant to be. If I could get away I would love to go to Cali. ♥

I’ve never considered moving to California. I always thought it is a good place to visit but never to live. However, I’ve always return to visit California; too many times! Everything else, except for my previous job, seem to point to California.
I’ve eventually considered moving to California about 6 months ago. I shared my consideration and plan to a couple of friends; one is actually living in CA. The plan was to be financially secure with savings, a job, wrapping up loose ends, then make the move. I realized the longer I stayed where I was, the more frustrated and unhappy I became. It came to the point where I was always late to everything and only do it to get it done without the efforts or passions.
My move was established from the combination of my want (to move) and meeting my significant other. It’s only been a short time but so far so great! Now I just have to secure a job. Hard time but I’m up for it!

I live in the UK and hate it here. I love America ~ wish I could be there …
The smell of the beach.
Sand between my toes.
Sitting in traffic with the roof down.
Sunsets.
Sunrises.
Tank tops everyday.
Tan.
Hot.
The sun.
Boys.
Warn weather.
Crazi-ness.
Laid-back attitude.
Atmosphere.
Opportunities.
Everything.
I want to be there. I want to live there forever. I’ve never been there, but I might this summer. I don’t care WHERE I live in Cali, I just neeeeeeddd to live there. I know it will happen. But, I don’t know. My mom told me that it’s not what it’s all cracked up to be. And sure, I know it probably isn’t, but I still want to be a part of it. Just move. Someday. I know I will.
I got a job in San Jose, CA!!! And they’re paying for the relocation. It’s happening!
I moved away in 1997 and have felt lost ever since. I’ve lived in Portland Oregon (loved the town hated the weather), Boulder Colorado (beautiful city – not so keen on the people), Phoenix Arizona (hot, hot, hot!), and currently in Easter Idaho. I don’t like anyplace but California so I’m moving back! I am so excited….I’m going home :)
