atleast until I can get back to Japan.
Would love to leave the US totally. The people here are just to rude and insensitive…
Not to insult any of you guys on here or anything. =]

My primary goal in life is to get back there. It’s all I think, plan write in my journal about…
I left Carlsbad in 2001 and moved to Missouri under the guise we would be millionares and come back soon. Now almost 8 yrs later I’m divorced, remarried and crossing off the days on the callendar until I can make my escape. Eureka, Crescent City, Mt.Shasta, Del Norte – here I come. I’m dreaming and planning and saving and waiting.
Moved to LA to do my Masters at USC and it was the best experience of my life…a place is what you make of it and the people you meet so if you go out there with a positive attitude I would say you’ll never want to leave.
Unfortunately I had to leave due to visa issues, but one day I hope I’ll be back by the ocean.
So Florida isn’t exactly a great place to be, at least where I am currently. And when I transfer from community college to UCF, Orlando won’t be that great of an upgrade. I’m really looking into moving to California when I get my degree. The Pasadena/L.A. area looks very nice and has a lot of upsides. I do understands the negative side of moving there, but I honestly would like to have a complete change of setting, especially when I graduate with my degree and have the ability to make the choice of where I want to move to.
I am 19 and Have lived in Michigan my whole life. When I finish school in 3-4 years I want to move to California. I’m going into Advertising and money is a huge issue for me. If I make the big move out there and hate it I will not have the money to just move again. I am hoping my idealistic thought of California (Being able to enjoy the beautiful weather and beaches) will not be crushed once I get there.
So, to those of you who did move to California…Was it everything you thought it would be?
Also, I hear about how LA and SF are very materilistic…is it like that everywhere?
I’ve wanted to move out to california ever since i was little. I visit my cousins there yearly and now that I live in michigan, it makes me all the more anxious. I’m turning 18 in September and looking desperatley for a quick job to make the move. I also hope to develop my art there… :/ Berkeley is perfect for me…but money is a huuuge issue.
