My boyfriend and I were in a Spar shop in Dublin and my boyfriend was buying his lottery ticket and he was like why don’t u buy one i think it will only cost 2 euro for one set so i filled out my one set brought it up to the counter and the man said sorry you have to fill out 2 sets! damn it then my boyfriend said ah forget it then…
So yeah quite unlucky

I love buying lottery tickets, and I especially like buying scratch-off tickets. Buying lottery tickets can be fun even if you don’t win. I really enjoy picking out the numbers each week. Even more than picking out numbers, I love scratching the scratch-off tickets, with the anticipation of winning.
I’ve never won big, but I win a few dollars every once in a while and that’s enough to keep me playing.
If you want to play the lottery seriously, or even if you just want to know more about it, there is a great website I’ve found that really has everything you’ve ever wanted to know about the lottery in every state in the US. Check out http://luckylotto.com to learn all about the lotto in your state!

Okay… so I’m almost 24 years old and I’ve never bought a lottery ticket… I know, it’s supposed to be something that you do as a right of passage when you turn 18 but I never have.
This weekend, my boyfriend and I bought 2 Powerball tickets and didn’t win anything. But like they say, “you can’t win if you don’t play.”
I don’t really condone gambling, especially because I work hard for my money and it seems so silly to lose it all in a second, but the lottery doesn’t feel as “dangerous.” Since we’re in such tough times, I could really use the money and I really know that lottery money can help a family immensely.

Today is my 18th birthday so I decided to buy a ticket. I went to lunch with five people, and every body contributed a number. If I win, I’m going to split it with everyone that gave a winning number. I plan on doing this again, even if I don’t win

I’ve never been a big lottery person. Every once in a blue moon I’ll pick up a scratch & win or get a ticket if the jackpot is a stupidly large, but I don’t make it a habit.
Markus isn’t a lottofiend by any stretch, but it’s a bit of a guilty pleasure with him. The Millionaire Lottery rolled around this year and he wanted to get a ticket, so we talked about it and decided that if there aren’t any other tickets bought for the next several months, one of those is pretty much the same… and the money goes for a good cause (the hospital foundation) too. Plus, I wouldn’t turn up my nose at a new house.
We got a ticket in time for the early bird & xmas cash draws. Woot! (Hey… you never know…)

I haven’t done anything else that would require me proving I’m 18, so I bought a couple scratch cards today. They didn’t card me, and I didn’t win, but I can still say that I bought one.
