One down.... 16 months ago

Well I’ve done one so far – The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck. It was hard going at first but worth it. I don’t know what is really considered to be classic but I’m thinking things like Moby Dick, To Kill a Mockingbird etc etc, well these are the types of books I want to read anywayz =)

The Fountainhead 3 years ago

Currently reading the above mentioned Title, for the second time in the past 3 years. awesome, more of a bible and a kick your independent you into shape, kind of book. every word teaches you a lesson about something and makes you think, is that what i want to be/do? i like to use it like the rulers in old day school rooms that slapped naughty children on the hand, it hurts but causes sadistic pleasure at the same moment…finding out who and what you are can do that to a person

I used to read .... 3 years ago

and now I can’t concentrate or find time or feel motivated. But there are so many great classics, and I could start with any one of them and be happy. Last decent book I read was The Good Earth .. Pearl S. Buck .. I remember my mom reading and raving about it, and know I understand why. Classics stick with you and some of the words leave such an impact.

Sense and Sensibility 3 years ago

Started reading this tonight…loving it! Austen is witty and creative with her wording, which puts off a lot of people. I like it…makes me dig deep and shit. Yah.

Finished The Awakening...yay!

the first one 3 years ago

The Awakening by Kate Chopin.

Read it in high school…that was awhile ago.
