I love swimming again! I can’t believe it took me so long to get back into it. Just a half hour work out really makes you feel alive and refreshed. I’m never gonna stop :-)

i did 20 laps. which is virtually nothing. and i realized how i really need to get back into swimming shape. its been almost 3 months since i stopped—-well i’m going to work it into my schedule, and perhaps alternate between swimming and running days. i think that sounds good. though i am going for a run in a few hours.
xociao.
Goodness. I am so unfit! I didn’t realise this until yesterday. I finally got to go swimming!
It was the weirdest feeling, the pool was empty when I got there, so a nervous me got to do a few lengths to get started without looking like a fool. So much time has gone by since the last time I’d been, and I was afraid I might have forgotten how to do it… Luckily, my brain works reasonably well and remembered!
Although my muscles ache today, I felt great after, so I shall continue my quest in fitness. My body will thank me eventually :-)
Went to the gym yesterday, and the pool was closed because they were fixing some hole in the roof. They said that it would be done by lunchtime, so I thought I’d put off going back until the evening. To give them a few extra hours (you know what it’s like…)
Turns out it’s still not done even by this evening. I’ll try on Sunday.
My cozzie came today hoorah, going swimming tomorrow.
My flatmate has got a four weeks free membership voucher at the gym for me to use the pool. How excellent?
I’ve not even owned a swimming costume since I was about 14, so, I’ve ordered one. It should be here in a couple of days.
SienaLove is getting pretty
We recently bought our first house! AND THERES A POOL!!! I think this means I need or should pick up swimming… from what I hear it’s amazing for fitness :) I swam on a team when I was a kid but honestly I haven’t gone swimming in years and especially laps… How do I swim straight? I remember always hurting my arms on the divider floaty things! I NEED to get better at this… I should purchase some goggles.

I have never been a strong swimmer, I learnt to swim mainly from diving and a very shortlived bout of swimming lessons. So I really don’t have much swimming endurance, which is really quite depressing when you’re on holiday with all your mates and they’re all out swimming in the ocean and you can’t join them due to lack of stamina.
I’m gonna start swimming at my local pool regularly, starting Monday. 3 times a week in the mornings. Once I’m firmly in this routine I will consider this goal complete.
Well, my main point of this goal is to become a strong swimmer. Is endurance and confidence something you can gain by teaching yourself? Or would it be worth doing more swimming lessons? I’m 18 and don’t really wanna do that latter, I’d feel a bit humiliated =[
i enjoy swimming. i went swimming often. it feels good floating on the water. in that period, i made myself be able to keep swimming for a long distance without any break, though i’m slow.;) well, it surprised my family. ‘cause one time we went to sea to swim, and i made my mind to see how far can i reach to, without telling them first. so, when i got quite far way from the beach, they seemed starting to get nervous. well, i’m sorry then, i should told them at first. by the way, they did wow to my capability. i’m a little bit satisfied with myself. well, i don’t swim for some years. there’s no any reason, just have no chance to go swimming. i want to start swimming again.:)
