I bought a fedora hat :)
at Galeries Lafayette in Paris.
It was cute.
My man liked it.
It was made of felt.
It was orange.
And it cost €49.
The search continues.
Ru ~ dig deeper glitter in her wake...
I repeatedly went out looking for a hat and found nothing. I went out to do something completely different and found a hat! Such is life…

I used to collect hats. I still have a lot of hats, but nothing I’d actually like to wear, except the ‘worn-smooth-in-places-black-suede-cap’, which looks awfully ghetto, I just choose to ignore that fact because it’s an old friend.
I have vintage top hats, green velvet floppy hats, jester hats, leather hats with religious icons, cowboy hats, lacy widow hats, grandma’s Jackie-O hats, hats with ostrich plumes, crocheted hats, and little leopard caps. None of these inspire me to put them on my head and walk out the door.
I need a new hat. I looked today. With no luck. No luck at all. I’ll keep looking.
yakuza who has missed me?
I have the one that I am wearing in my “icon”, and then I have this one that I got in Argentina.
SavvyNLady is just here ya'll just here.
Wearing a hat is a dying art, but thank God for the book “Crowns” by Craig Marberry and Michael Cunningham which ended up becoming a exhibition(that I missed sadly when it came to my town) and a play..I wish sisters would wear hats not only when necessary,but because simply they just look good in it;
