rowanboat is re-connecting
Ordered a custom name stamp for my shop today. Expecting it to arrive some time next week. It’s simple – just the shop name in a very nice handwriting font.
Also been working on the layout of my blog today. Messing around in Paint Shop Pro and Wordpress. I’m not as finicky about the HTML side of things as I used to be – probably cos I’ve forgotten most of it …
Some of this is triggering my anxiety symptoms – mainly tiredness and some stomach discomfort. But I’m taking my vitamin B and I intend to do some yoga later, so I just worked through it and tried to remember not to hold my breath – very annoying habit. Also will try to limit the amount of time I spend on the computer, so over-stimulation doesn’t kick in. Am temporarily banning myself from all but a handful of design blogs.
Have been putting off the cleaning of my room a little. Rather daunting.
Added some pictures to my inspiration folder on my desktop. I put pictures in there – everything from fabrics, patterns and colours I admire to pictures of people I’ve loaned to on Kiva. One of my goals is to have enough money to make loans more regularly – when I find myself thinking that starting a small business is ‘difficult’, I think of the borrowers I read about there and realise that most of my worries are pretty stupid.
To do next week: work on a budget, finish organising workspace, get together some excel worksheets, stock on up paper and ink, buy some shipping supplies.
Going to do Yoga now.
