do something nice for someone every day

I make it a point to do something for some one
I have step up to the plate given her daughter the money she need to fix the house so she could keep her kids.
I have loaned money to friends to keep there business.
I have given strangers money for bus tickets or what ever they need

Wednesday: Helped someone in my class present his German oral final. It was compulsory to present someone’s final with them, but still.
Yesterday: Helped my mother take her laundry to the laundromat.
Today: Made coffee cake for my mother.

I’m bad at this.

its fun giving gifts

well, i decided it’s just a never-ending goal. i have to set more specific goals that i can check off. it needs to be “do something nice for someone today”. also, i have to figure out what really counts as “doing something nice for someone”... that’s pretty vague.

I just sat thinking about what I did today. And I almost cried…cos I’m a horrible person and didn’t really do anything. I suppose the one thing I did do was offer to go into school an hour early tomorrow so the French speaking teacher doesn’t have to sit around for 2 extra hours just to see me.

I like this one. Being able to make someone smile is great. I reckon if everyone in the world looked out for everyone else, life would be a lot nicer. And I’m not expecting to change the world just by helping someone everyday, but surely me doing it brings it one person closer? Even small things, they make the difference. Sort of pay back to all the times I’ve been helped.

it’s really strange when you try to do something nice for a stranger they look at you funny. idk.
