Move out on my own again.

This may happen years from now. Not sure when. I’m patient. I know I can’t say I’m “Just staying at my parent’s place until I find my own” anymore.

Currently I am divorced, pregnant, and living at home because of health problems. I had to give up my job as a teacher due to health problems at the beginning of the year. That meant giving up my apartment and most of my freedom. My relationship with my parents is deteriorating rapidly because they have difficulty NOT TRYING TO RUN MY LIFE. I plan on substitute teaching as much as possible because my health has improved during the next few months until the baby comes and saving that money so that after her birth and after I procure full time employment (probably sometime mid to late June) and can support the two of us, I can move out without having to stress about deposits and first month’s rent, etc.

I have lived on my own before. I’ve been in five different apartments. But for some reason, I always get stuck without a job and I have to move back in with my parents. It’s not good. I need to move out again, and this time, to stay out.

April 1, 2007! I’ll be completely out on my own for the first time. No roommates, no parents, no one to be dependent on. If I screw up it’s my own fault, and if I make it it’s because I made it work.

Things are looking better for this. Once I get my first paycheck at my new job I’ll be able to get a new budget ironed out, and I should at least have a plan to move out by the end of summer.
