my mum!

the supportive members of my family.
my wonderful and stupendous friends.
my supervisor and boss, my part-time job.
my previous jobs.
the professors that understood me (or at least, didn’t condemn me for bailing on their classes) and still passed me.
the professors that really teach well (like my long-time mentor).
my new phone that my amazing friend got me.
all the caring people I’m surrounded by.
my mum voluntarily offering to pay for my housing money (SF).
trying my best to stay positive even when all I want to do is give in and succumb to the ogres of negativity.
the big decisions I’ve made in my life – because I like where they have led me to.
FIDM for accepting me as a student (and for my advisor there).
old photographs that recall a good reminiscing of the past.
great music.
superiffic musicals that I fall in love with.
the Rent, We Will Rock You, and Wicked soundtracks.
good theatre performances.
random compliments from people.
being able to compliment strangers and brighten their day up a little bit.
networking sites like facebook, xanga, and livejournal.

having grown up in a very cosmopolitan (in terms of racial acceptance) place on this planet.
the truly nice people I met at LAX who got me through that horrendous experience.
kind people on planes and trains that always offer to help me with my bags.
meeting random people on planes and being able to have deep, profound conversations with them.
