So there have been opportunities. We’ve even had nice drive dates and when I say they’re nice- that’s about it. We talk and we laugh and we get along really well and whatever, but I seem to be waiting for him to make an official move. Then he tells me he might be moving to another town. Family reasons that cannot be expressed online.

It’s my fault. I hold back. I come off uninterested. I’m not doing it on purpose, it’s just I can’t seem to shake off this brick wall. He reckons there isn’t anything left for him here in the Isa anyway. I supportively agree with him and act as if it doesn’t bother me that he’ll be gone and I’d never go out with him again. I’m a glutton for punishment. I need to be smacked. 6 years ago

I like him, I heard it through the grapevine that the feeling is mutual. I should just grow some balls and suggest a date already.
Why won’t he ask? He’s shy and thinks I’m not interested (so I heard)- so I should just do it? Right? Humm- Maybe next weekend? Or maybe the weekend after..? I’m always finding myself busy. Or maybe I should just wait till my busy spell is over? Fine. I’m not really that busy. I don’t really have anything planned, at all. I should just stop procrastinating and just do it! Argh.
