Lucrezea Still working away at the goals... one day I will update...
I received my first deck of tarot cards nearly 11 years ago now. My mother gave me a Raider Waite deck, which I absolutely love, because it’s simple and traditional. It makes reading the cards simply through imagery a real possibility, unlike some flashy decks I’ve seen that give up the symbolism for pretty pictures. Even though I’ve had my cards for so long, I still can’t read them without consulting various sources on their meanings.
I’ve been inspired to pick up my cards again since moving up here with my mother, because she reads as well. I’ve done 4 of 5 readings in the past few months, and I’m starting to be able to pick up some of the meanings from the symbolism within the cards. I’ve never been able to do that before, so it’s a bit of a breakthrough. I’m feeling the cards more, and producing more accurate readings, which is also great.
I want to be able to get a feel for each and every one of my cards, and be able to lay whatever spread I choose and understand the placement. My disturbingly psychic mother and I have decided to do some readings together while I’m up here, so hopefully that will motivate me to keep up with my readings. It would be nice to have the confidence to read for other people, and not just myself.

After a long hiatus, I’ve started picking up tarot cards again. My husband bought me this beautiful deck called The Golden Klimt & it has inspired me to get back into tarot & keep with it this time. In the last few weeks I’ve made a tarot journal (with my conveyed meanings of each of the cards & spreads that I do often, along with other tips & tricks). I’ve memorized the meanings of about 2/3 of my cards. I only have to pick up my reference books and journal for about one or two cards in each medium sized spread.
What has helped me tremendously is this website on all things tarot:
http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/
but I usually find myself in the forums as they have a TON of information regarding tarot, such as the history, spreads, learning the tarot cards themselves, etc. You can find the forums here:

Thirteen’s tarot card meanings has also helped me in ways that no other site has been able to when it comes to the meanings of the cards. You can find her meanings here:

If I find any other really useful references, I’ll be sure to write an update :D
Yay! On my way to finishing another goal!

I want to...
...be able to read a full spread without having to consult my guidebook :D I’ve done a few readings for a few people and only once has it not been accurate, so I’m thinking that there must be something there. & even when I doubt it all and become skeptical, I still feel the want/need to go and do a spread every day :D I definitely want to learn more about it.

I know the meaning of all the tarot cards on various levels. I am now on beyond just a need to learn about the Tarot but I am studying the Tarot.

I love divination, but I have a tendency to stick to my runes. I would like to improve my all around skills and pick up tarot a little more than I have already.

Went to an interesting workshop about divination. Yes, I want to know more about it and play with it…
