After being in it for a year, i’ve gained many friendships and have had many good memories, but the academic suffering isn’t worth it. Besides, if these people really are my friends and care and are always there to support me, then they should understand that academics come first. I’m on scholarship and am coming close to losing it. I’ve never made bad grades in my life until I got involved in Greek life and I wasn’t prepared for the commitment that it would require. Some people are cut out to handle the stress, others, like me, aren’t. I’m ready to regain focus and start enjoying my life again, and stop worrying and stressing about not having time to do anything.
