Actually, I did this for my daughter. We used one of the Blue’s Clues colors…She loves it!

I didn’t paint it purple but the room I stayed in for awhile was already purple and I loved It!! It’s was a kinda lavender purple and there were these plants that hung from the walls it looked sooo nice =)
this will happen soon, anyone with any ideas?

My bedroom is the sexiest room, I absolutely love it, I have an enormous sleigh bed that Santa would be jealous of and the walls are the most awesome deep plum in a suede paint. When I walk in I just feel sexier.

I also loved the vibe it had. It was a very deep violet with red accents.
putting it on hold for a while. I’m much too busy with finding an internship, school and life in general. Spring Break will be here before I know it and anyway, maybe once I clear up this space I will add as a goal:
“Find out who’s subscribed to me”.
I was away from the site for a couple of days and when I got back, found a few people had subscibed. Cool! A part of me doesn’t want to know who they – you- are, and the greater (or more habitual) part of me does. You see, when I was a kid – oh, let’s be honest, even a few years ago – I would open any wrapped presents I found hidden from me. It’s not that I hate surprises – I love surprises, you know, the one’s that are unexpected, as opposed to the ones that are given away beforehand with “I’ve got a surprise for you”. So yes, a part of me id dying to know :) (interesting typo – think I’ll leave it) and another part feels it would be kind of neat to just truck along, oh, with the freedom of anonymity.
Still, curioser and curioser!
The cold I thought I was getting over is actually the flu, so I am really having to pace myself. But I am going to do it! I have narrowed down my paint swatches and found a paint that is supposed to have less noxious fumes, so that I won’t have to sleep on the couch for days after painting.
First, however, I am going to re-furbish a great little mid-century design chair I scored at the thrift store for, oh, I think it was $7. This seems like a better first project for me, and the chair is in the living room, thus re-upholstering it will serve more/other people (housemates and guests), whereas painting my bedroom is just for myself. (I could argue to myself that this is a back-asswards approach, and one I am trying to move away from in my life – but I won’t.)
