i’ve unscrewed the blue light bulb in my bathroom after reading about it’s effect on melatonin production and the consequences. (insomnia/anxiety).
While I’ve been an insomniac since I was about five, I really don’t mind being awake at night. I like night more than day sometimes. But I’ve notice other people who are older than me that have this problem. They’re memory is horrible, and they all think their lack of sleep contributed to this problem. So, recently I’ve been going to bed around 1030pm and waking around 830-9am. Thats much different then my usual 530am-6pm. haha. And I’ve noticed while waking up that day so early in the morning I do more things with my day because I have more day. I feel energized and productive. It’s a change I like. And I’m going to try to keep it up.
4:00 am my eyes open for no reason – no stress, no anxiety, just wide awake.
irieman is enjoying a small accomplishment.
what is the true definition of insomniac?
inability to obtain sufficient sleep, esp. when chronic; difficulty in falling or staying asleep; sleeplessness.
Maybe I can change this goal to “waste less time surfing – the non-water related type!” or “write more music” or “read more books” or “cook more wholesome dinners so I can create more left overs” or “exercise more” – all of which could help with the sleeplessness….

instead, since my insomniasm is incurable, i will endeavor to find more insomniac friends.
