I’m going to say I’ve done this because I’ve realised I actually do eat a decent amount of fruit and veg! My Mum’s pretty good at healthy meals so I normally get at least 2 portions a day and normally more (especially now it’s summer and perfect fruit eating weather!)-Things might get a bit more tricky in September when I have to actually COOK for myself-but for now I think I can say I’ve done this! :D
How to eat more fruit and veg
How I did it: It took a couple of weeks to get into the routine of this but once but it's totally worth the effort.
At first I tried just adding fruit or veg to my usual meals - that didn't work because then I had too much food and if anything was getting left on my plate it was the veg!
Then I changed my approach instead of planning to have veg with something i started planning meals by choosing the veg first and then adding the pasta of chicken or whatever. I also realised that sure veg might be good for you but that doesn;t mean I have to eat one's I don't like so much, the same with fruit. So now i look out for the delicious veg and fruit that I love and it's got so much easier to have F&V and enjoy it.
