record and release an album

I recorded, and produced a full album of my solo music.
To this day I’m not 100% happy with it but I’m glad to have done it and started me on my way. I’m almost done with my second album as well and have already started work on the third one lol.

I’ve been recording for years but never released a album.
For the past month I and my friend dave have been recording and I’m hopeing that it will all be completed by new years.

Almost all instruments have been recorded.

Okay – Here’s the breakdown of what I think I need to do in order to do this:

1. Clean out xtra bedroom to make room for home recording equipment.
2. Purchase and setup home recording system. This will require figuring out what software and hardware I need for the type of recording I want to do.
3. Write a bunch of songs (already well on my way here)
4. Experiment, Record, Mix, Perfect…Repeat.
5. Get some feedback from a mentor or two.
6. Burn some copies and mp3s and get stuff out there via standard channels.

This weekend I started making progress on the cleaning out process and researching what I’ll need to buy.

I recorded and have been sending around a demo, and it sounds fantastic!
