How I did it: It kind of felt like watching a birth. Only not, if that makes any sense. It was beautiful.
I couldn't see it from my house because there were trees and buildings in the way, so I took the dog for a walk (or rather, the dog took me for a walk) and I watch it from the road. It was pretty.
It's not something I'd do every day but I think I'll be getting up that extra half hour earlier to watch it every now and then.

I’ve still not adjusted to summer. It’s 6 o’clock at night but the sun is still shining brightly. In winter it would have been getting dark for a while. I already have too much free time without getting longer days. This kind of thing does my head in. 5 months ago

The sun is apparently going to rise in my town at 5:21 AM tomorrow. Setting my alarm for five o’clock so I’ll definitely be able to watch it. If it’s raining (which it probably will be) I’ll do it the next day. I’m definitely tackling this goal this week though :D 5 months ago
