When it comes to traveling down the road of life, I usually speed. Then, I look back and wonder where the time went. I’ve never watched a sunrise, but I’d like to do that sometime in the near future.

How I did it: I used to wake up several hours early for school. IO always felt really awake when I was at school on those days, less stressed as well. It really boosted my performance in class. Read how I did it…

How I did it: This one happened by complete accident, believe it or not. Last night, I was in one of my frenzies, and so completely forgot to pull the blinds down. Early in the morning, I was woken up by a strange glow in my room. I looked out the window, and I could see the sun just peeking up over the treeline, so I sat up to watch it rise, and then went back to sleep. It was perfect. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Matt and Jady and I got up early (after staying up very late, I might add) and headed over to Frick Park. We hiked through the woods and watched the sun rise from a field in the middle of the park. So beautiful! Read how I did it…

How I did it: Had to get up very early to go to a NASCAR race for my birthday. While driving to the track, I got to watch the sun rise. Since then, I have gotten into the habit of going to the gym at 5:30 every morning, so I get to see sun rises quite often :) Read how I did it…

Completed this by accident today. It was lovely watching everything be illuminated. I hope to take time out to do that more often. I would love to see it in a place that wasn’t obscured by houses as well. Worth getting up for.
I keep missing the sunrises, but there have been some beautiful sunsets. Wishing I lived somewhere that had a better view of them.

not a morning person, at all. this one will be hard, but i should be able to manage just one. although it may be from staying up all night, not getting up early. there is a hot air balloon ride i have been thinking of taking lately – it goes up with the sun, so i guess that would count. but, like i said, i have been thinking about it. just don’t do mornings…
This is something I used to do regularly, whether by accident or luck. I usually didn’t go to sleep until around 6 or 7AM and was rewarded with bird-song and a multicolored sky.
Now, I fall asleep anywhere from 2 to 4AM, missing out on the sun completely. I can’t decide whether to alter my schedule forwards or backwards to try to make this happen again more frequently.

Suprisingly, I’ve never seen a sunrise in my life.
I was going to just say…enough said, but I actually think this one involves a note too. I’ve never been a morning person (unlike my rise at dawn family) and I have never seen a sunrise. I have enough sunsets under my belt to last me a lifetime (thank you parents for raising me in San Diego and letting me spend many a summer day/evening at the beach). A sunrise on the otherhand…not so much. I’m ready.
I’d forgotten this was a goal, and I did it spontaneously one morning about a month ago. Unfortunately the morning I picked didn’t have the clearest weather, so it wasn’t as gorgeous as it would’ve been. It’s nice to be up when it’s dark and see everything get light again.
It’s called working in the computer lab until the you began to see the sun rise through the library’s tinted windows.
