Loving it! 4 months ago

Today I literally spent 9.5 hours working on the one spreadsheet, making it the be all and end all of all files I work with!! It was magic .. after I cut down the number of worksheets it looks up, I broke up one of the formulas that I inherited, and could absolutely read it!! I was so excited – I made it go
=vlookup(this is what I want you to find),but if it’s not then be something else,(this is what I want you to find)

VLOOKUP ... Where have you been all my life?!?? 7 months ago

Love it!! I’ve not yet mastered it but I’m definately becoming more familiar with it and using it daily. Still would like to do that course ..

The more you use it... 18 months ago

The more you learn.

2007 is much more intuitive, which really helps. Still working on mastering pivot tables, which are a real asset for budgeting matters.

Online Tutorials 22 months ago

There are alot of online tutorials through my work, and my boss asked if I’d like to do a two day course in Parramatta as part of my development plan ..

I did say that I’d try to tutorials first because I have my eyes set on a supply chain course .. but I may hit her up again for it later!!

It’s best learnt piece by piece when you actually have something to apply it to rather than by doing a really broad course

Buying a book 3 years ago

My goal or mastering Excel will take off soon. I found a really great book at Barnes and Noble to learn the ins and outs. :)

I can work my way around Excel now. 3 years ago

Goooooo me! :)
I’m not totally a dork when someone emails me a spreadsheet now.
“Master” might be too strong, but I’m definitely more comfortable with it and that’s saying a lot from a self-professed Word girl.
