Take up parkour

In response to wildpansy's entry, "You're never too old"…
Me too :):):) — 1 minute ago

44, and falling in love with parkour… problems with neck, overweight, and so on.. but decided to try it.
I loved gymnastics back in school, and when I see parkour videos I really long to be able to do the same.
Let’s support each other.. I started with push-ups, jumping on the chair and those things. Also heard doing spiderman walk, jumping in the spot are good ones.
How’re you doing? see your post is month old..

Hi !

L’étranger is actually a novel that nearly all French students have studied in their school years…
The book is so powerful, but no easy to understand !

I guess it’s really a challenge for someone who isn’t a native French speaker, so congratulations in advance :-)

Take care.

Hi there !

May I correct you ?
- J’écris chaque jour en français.
- Après, j’écris les mêmes mots, avec une grammaire correcte.
- Ainsi je me rappellerai de tout.

But that’s already good :-)
Hope this helps…

Have a nice day !

i want to make a change

In response to mystic_diablo's entry, "change...change.."…
Untitled — 30 minutes ago

just don’t try to do everything in a day, change one thing, feel comfortable with it, do one more. If you try to make too many at once you will get overwhelmed and give up. Write notes to yourself so that on a down day you can look at them to get rev’d up to keep going

it IS! Very easily done, jus keep a rhythm up and don’t lose it!

You can easily lose 10 pounds in two weeks even, so losing 10pounds a month for three months is something you can achieve. :) Good luck!

Way to go!

I am anxious of getting back to commuting by bike. I had a ligament torn off my thumb in February and got rid of the plaster some two weeks ago, so it has been impossible for me to bike to work, but now both my thumb is healing and the weather is getting so sweet that I really want to hop on and ride to work.

Last year there was only two weeks between May and December that I didn’t commute even once by bike. One of them I thought I was too busy and the other I had been with fever. This year I reach for even better results.

Otherwise I am doing also the extremist part by dumpster diving those veggies and fruit that have traveled thousands of miles. But that’s just me. :)

Thank you! — 2 hours ago

That was exactly what I needed to hear. Its hard to keep in mind that it is the depression talking when he says things like that and is not physically affectionate anymore. It definitely plays with your mind and I needed an outside perspective. I think I just need to take care of him no matter what. Unless he asks for a divorce I’ll stay thick skinned and help him get better. Thanks
